Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure.

On March 31, 2026, Academy Sports and Outdoors, Inc. (the “Company” or “Academy”) issued a press release announcing that it will host an Analyst Day event (“Analyst Day”) on April 7, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

The event will include presentations from members of the Company’s management team regarding the Company’s long-term strategy as well as providing updates on growth initiatives. A live webcast of the event will be available through the Investor Relations page on the Company’s website at investors.academy.com.

Presentation materials for the Analyst Day event will be made available on the Investor Relations page on the Company’s website immediately prior to the event. A replay of the webcast will be available on the Company’s website following the conclusion of the event for approximately 30 days.

A copy of the press release announcing the Analyst Day is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8‑K.
